How a windscreen is bonded

  1. Car body pinchweld: The flange on the vehicle body that the windscreen bonds to.
  2. Isopropyl clean: The bonding surfaces are cleaned with an isopropyl alcohol cleaner.
  3. Sappolo Bond 7937: A bead of Sappolo Bond 7937 is applied to form the bond.
  4. Glass with black ceramic band: The windscreen, with its black ceramic band fused to the glass edge, is set into the bead, completing the bonded joint.
